At Educational Outreach, the mission is to provide high-quality presentations and workshops for teachers, faculty, parents and the community. We believe that preventative education is the key to success, and we strive to assist our schools and community with the knowledge they need to promote safe schools.
We take a personalized approach to education, tailoring our services to meet the unique needs of each school and community. Our experienced educators delve into the issues facing schools today and how we, as educators, parents, and community members can help to be part of the solution!
Our experienced instructors are passionate about teaching and dedicated to helping faculty, parents, and communities to delve into the life of teenagers and the temptations and trends they are faced with in today's society. Topics include: Social Media Addiction, Dangerous APPs, Cyberbullying, Sexting, Vaping, Drugs, and Dangerous Teen Trends.
This course will teach new school administrators how to legally handle disciplinary incidents at the local school as well as learn the process of preparing and presenting disciplinary hearings. A variety of disciplinary topics will be presented in order to provide learners with engaging scenarios and consistency builders in topics such as due process, search, seizure, jurisdiction, and self-defense.
How can teachers be proactive in building relationships with their students AND leading with empathy, all while holding students accountable for their actions? Schedule this presentation!
This presentation will hone in on the "tools in the toolbox" that new teachers must have and utilize to ensure they are offering a positive learning environment for all students.
Bullying and Cyberbullying are major influences on a child's education. Can teachers and parents recognize the types of bullying? What interventions can be put into place by all stakeholders to ensure that students are safe at school and on their devices?
Our educators are veteran teachers and administrators who have a wealth of knowledge in school law. They are Nationally Certified Hearing Officials who have presided over cases, weighing the evidence from all parties, and determining violations of the Student Conduct Code. If your school system is in need of an independent hearing official, our staff is ready to help.
As a parent, do you feel that your child needs an advocate at a pending Student Disciplinary Hearing? If so, contact our professionals. We can review the case and offer support through the process.
If you're unsure about what type of training will work best for you, just tell us a little more about your needs. We will get back to you as soon as possible with the answers you need!
