Ms. Ulrich is a dedicated educator with thirty years of experience. Her passion is grounded in providing the best educational experience for students and staff in a positive and safe learning environment.
Ms. Ulrich holds an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership, with ten years of experience as a teacher, ten years as a Middle School Assistant Principal, and 10 years as the Assistant Director of the Office of Student Discipline of Gwinnett County Public Schools. Additionally, Ms. Ulrich serves as a Nationally Certified Hearing Officer and presides over student disciplinary hearings.
As part of these vital experiences, Ms. Ulrich has developed multiple professional learning opportunities for teachers and administrators to help support students, staff, and educators and provide learning at the highest level. These classes include topics such as Trends and Techniques in Classroom Management, Due Process and School Law, Bullying, and the Power of Relationships.
Additionally, Ms. Ulrich created a Community Outreach Program to help parents identify and understand the effects of Social Media, Drugs, and Dangerous Teen Trends. Her experience as a teacher, school, and district leader is demonstrated by strength in student and teacher engagement, the power of parent involvement, organizational management, communication, data collection, evaluation, and powerful feedback.
Prevention is key!
As a Nationally Certified Hearing Official, Ms. Ulrich has conducted over 4,000 student disciplinary hearings.
Additionally, she has presented over 100 school and district professional learning classes and more than 150 community outreach presentations for parents and community members.
